How to renew a CSCS Card

To renew a CSCS card you need to prove you have the appropriate training and qualifications required to carry out your job.  You also need to pass the CITB Health Safety and Environment test.  The test costs £37.99.  The type of work you do, how experienced you are and your qualifications or membership of professional bodies will determine which type of CSCS card you should apply for and which test you need to pass. You must advise us if you have changed occupation since your exising cscs card was issued. 
If you are renewing your own card, once you have passed the appropriate CITB Health, Safety and Environment test, please call the CSCS Contact Centre on 0844 682 0844.  Before you ring please ensure you have a credit or debit card to pay £50 for the card and details of your current or previous employer’s details including contact name, full address and telephone number.  Your card will usually be dispatched on the next working day.
